Domains

You can use a domain you already own or ask Message Science to purchase an available .com domain for you.

What we configure

For each managed domain, Message Science handles:

• DNS records required for email.
• SPF records that identify approved sending services.
• DKIM records that let receiving providers verify message signatures.
• DMARC enforcement for messages that fail authentication.
• Mail routing and the connection to each mailbox.

Adding a new domain

1. Enter the domain you want to use.
2. If you are purchasing it, confirm that it is available.
3. Choose the people and mailbox names for the domain.
4. Review the price and confirm the setup.
5. Message Science configures and verifies the domain.

Some domain changes depend on DNS updates around the internet and may take time to appear everywhere. You can follow the domain's status in your account, and a problem with one domain does not stop other domains from being completed.

Domains you already own

If the domain is registered elsewhere, we will provide or manage the DNS changes needed to connect it securely. Do not remove existing records until the new settings have been reviewed.
